Orthodox Christian symbols and temples in Velingrad. Start with the Church of St. Mary. It is very close. Then take a look at the Holy Trinity Church. It is located next to the center. It is the oldest active Orthodox church in the Chepina region. Visit also the Chapel of St. Vlasii. It preserves the relics of the holy man - the patron saint of domestic animals and water. Obliged see the 22 m high construction of the Cross. It rises on a hill above the town. Finally, see the Chapel of St. George the Victorious. It was built on the site of a monastery that was destroyed by the Turks at the time of the Mohammedans - as a symbol of the Bulgarian faith. Every St. George's Day a gathering is held here.
